For over 27 years we have been known for our great food. We purchase the best ingredients and change our menu regularly to reflect the change of seasons and the availability of different ingredients. Whenever possible we try to use seasonal, locally grown ingredients. We proudly serve cheeses made at Cato corner farm in Colchester, ice cream from Buck’s of Milford, produce from Schultz Farm in Hamden and Gresczyk Farms in New Hartford; beef, pork and veal from Eagle Wood Farm in Barkhamstead are a few of the locally procured items we feature every day. We are located in the Upper State Street area of New Haven and are known for our great food, great drink and great people.

28TH ANNUAL ROAD RACE -
"IT'S FOR THE CHILDREN"

We hope to make Christmas a little brighter for needy children in the New Haven area by giving them not only a toy, but the message of love from friends and neighbors they have never met. Over the years, our race has given over 50,000 toys to children.
The 2012 Christopher Martins Christmas Run For Children was another huge success and the biggest ever! Thanks to all you great people out there we had more runners than ever before over-2500!

Howard el-Yasin’s art practice explores tension, palimpsest-like erasure, geometric and abstract mark making. The works in this exhibition engage paper through experimentation, and yield discovery. el-Yasin incorporates monotype printmaking, layering of paper and mixed media fragments, drawing, sewing, etc. with an inclination toward juxtaposing textures, shadows, and contrasting forms. His aesthetic is drawn to the materiality of archeological surfaces, as well as informed by the structural formality of the grid.
Howard el-Yasin in a native of New Haven, CT, a graduate of New England College, Henniker, NH and Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT. His artwork has sold to private collectors.
