Christopher Martin's Restaurant Dining Room
For over 20 years we have been known for our modern interpretations of Italian & Mediterranean cuisine. We are committed to the idea of sustainable local agriculture and feature only the freshest ingredients, emphasizing locally produced, organic and/or naturally raised products whenever possible. Wild "Chicken of the Woods" mushrooms harvested here in Connecticut, cheeses made at Cato Corner Farm in Colchester, Ice Cream from Buck's of Milford, and organic heirloom tomatoes from Starlight Farms in Durham are just a few items we regularly feature. We also feature all natural choice steaks, free of growth hormones and antibiotics. We do change our menu regularly to reflect the change of seasons and the availability of different ingredients, but if you are looking for an old favorite, we will be happy to prepare it for you as long as we have the ingredients on hand. Christopher Martins' dining room is also available for your private or semi-private function. We offer special packages to groups of 15 or more. Please contact Brian to begin your planning.

Our Pub is the quintessential neighborhood bar that started New Haven's Upper-State St. revival, 30 years ago.
Our Pub Menu is known for our great sandwiches, nachos, salads and arguably, New Haven's best hamburger. If you are not in the mood for pub fare, you can also enjoy our Dining Room Menu in the more casual pub setting. We also have three TV's including a huge 8ft big screen TV - we are the place to be to watch your favorite sporting event. Want to sit outside? Have a burger & beer on the patio. Great food, great drinks and great people in a lively, casual atmosphere - that's what Christopher Martins Pub is all about

Christopher Martin's Thanksgiving Dinner for the Area Homeless and Working Poor Families
Every Year on Thanksgiving Day, Christopher Martins Restaurant opens its doors for up to 500 working poor and homeless people. We serve a full 3 course sit-down turkey dinner as well as providing take home packages of canned food, toiletries, and clothing. Dinner is served on linen draped tables in our dining room and pub by uniformed waiters, just as it is served every other night of the year. This past Thanksgiving; with the help of our friends from the community, we served 470 meals, a substantial increase from the past several years. Thanks again to all of the volunteers who helped make a nice day for those in need. If you would like to attend our annual Thanksgiving dinner, know someone who should attend, or need to arrange for transportation, please call the restaurant at: 203-776-8835. As always,

30th Annual Christopher Martin's 5K
Over the years, the CHRISTOPHER MARTINS 5K race has donated over 50,000 toys to needy children in New Haven during the Christmas season. We hope to make Christmas a little brighter for the children of New Haven by giving them not only a toy, but the message of love from friends and neighbors they have never met. Thanks to all the runners and volunteers who have helped to make the race a huge success year after year!! |
